In reaction to the imperial circumstances associated with historical cabinets of curiosities, from which Claire takes much inspiration, this body of work reimagines those objects of wonder in the most hyper-local of materials: household waste. All of this work is made largely of reclaimed aluminum cans, bottle glass, and plastic sourced from her own home and community.
This work was presented in collaboration with Ashley Pollack at New York City Jewelry Week 2024.
